Bar Nights
Start the semester off with a bang and meet us at one of the coolest bars in Melbourne for a night of relaxed drinking, dancing and delightful company. This is a great chance to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones who truly understand both the joys and pains of studying law. Make sure you’re available on the 29th of February, you don’t want to miss this night!

At the end of each semester the LSS collaborates with other student societies to put together an end of exams party at a venue in Melbourne. The events are a great way to destress and connect with people from other faculties and student societies and are very popular.

Law Ball
The annual Law Ball, the flagship event of the LSS Calendar, is set to make a stellar return on Sunday 24 August 2025! Planning is already underway, and this year’s Law Ball is shaping up to be more spectacular than ever before. Join us for great company, exquisite food and even more champagne sunrises! Dance the night away to incredible live music followed by a dazzling DJ set, guaranteed to get you up out of your seats and onto the dance floor! At the end of the night, ball-goers will be welcomed to an exclusive after-party, to continue the excitement and fun late into the evening. This night is guaranteed to leave you with memories to last a lifetime!
