Academic Support

Hi! We’re James, your LLB Academic Support Officer, and Eiman, your Postgraduate Academic Advocacy Officer for 2026. We’re here to support students with academic questions or concerns and to help you make the most of your Monash Law experience.

Our roles span a range of academic advocacy and support functions. This includes acting as student advocates on academic matters, raising feedback and concerns to the Faculty through consultative meetings, and supporting students as academic issues arise.

We work across areas including assessment, workload, academic progression, and curriculum matters. Our roles may also involve participating in academic progress or consultative meetings where appropriate. James, as Academic Support Officer, maintains key student support resources such as the LSS Private Tutor Database and Academic Progress Meetings. We also liaise with the Faculty and the LSS Executive to ensure both undergraduate and postgraduate student perspectives are clearly represented.
