Melody Wang | Constitutional Law | 83 | Sem 2, 2024 | 0432027559 | mwan0168@student.monash.edu | $40 (Zoom or in-person) | In my experience, the fastest way to understand law content is through a structured analysis on each topic. Therefore different to other tutors, my way of teaching involves guiding students through practical exam or assignment structures and helping out on content along the way, as opposed to first going through all the content before summarising it into notes. Especially in a unit like constitutional law where every topic blurs together, I believe this kind of technique is even more beneficial, as it helps students separate content from different topics quickly and even prepares them exam notes in the process. |

Whilst my private lessons are completely unaffiliated with the LSS, I have extensive tutoring experience for the unit with my weekly tutorials and other private students I have tutored as well — giving me a great feel for the points students struggle with most and how to overcome them best for success. Stylistically, I like to run my lessons according to you and your needs to focus on what you need help with most. Students in the past have told me just a couple individual sessions help tremendously in preparing for the exam or mid-semester test to hone your skills and put you in the best position for success. |

Raghav Dora (Dora) | Australian Legal Reasoning and Methods | 80 | Tri 1, 2024 | 0451171800 | rdor0003@student.monash.edu | Volunteer (no rate charged) | I’m Raghav Dora, currently in my second year of law school (JD). Outside of academics, I’m a big fan of Netflix binges and crime or escape documentaries on YouTube—Fern TV is my go-to, if anyone’s looking for recommendations. I also have a keen interest in tracking equity markets and staying updated on global economic and political developments (think less finance bro, more curious observer). I’ve had the opportunity to teach global politics and economics to high school students, and I’ve also led mentorship programs focused on advocacy and public speaking. These experiences have deepened my passion for engaging with others through learning and dialogue. My teaching style leans heavily on visual learning and interactive questioning to spark ideas and encourage critical thinking. I believe in simplifying concepts to the point where even a five-year-old could understand them—because a strong foundation makes it so much easier to build up to more complex ideas later on. |
Raghav Dora (Dora) | Principles of Torts | 80 | Tri 3, 2024 | 0451171800 | rdor0003@student.monash.edu | Volunteer (no rate charged) | I’m Raghav Dora, currently in my second year of law school (JD). |
